Sarah Espe, C-ASMP, RYT

In the spring of 2004, Sarah walked into her first Ashtanga yoga class and noticed an immediate sense of coming home. Through dedicated practice and daily meditation, Sarah discovered a powerful antidote for her persistent depression and anxiety.

In 2009, Sarah met Eza King, who would later become her mentor. Eza introduced Sarah to AcroYoga—an enchanting fusion of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. (Fun fact: Eza is the namesake for Sarah’s youngest daughter!)

Trainings

In 2011, Sarah completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Seattle’s renowned 8 Limbs Yoga Centers. This journey paved the way for her to share ancient yoga philosophies through teaching restorative and Hatha classes and firmly rooted her commitment to nurture a mindful connection between body, mind, and soul for holistic healing and well-being.

That commitment along with Sarah’s natural intuitive ability lead her to become a trained and certified Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki practitioner under the guidance Seattle-based Reiki Master, Daisy Thompson at Northwest Healing Studio. Currently, Sarah trains with Daisy in advanced energy healing methods and as an evidential medium.

Sarah trained with the well-respected, world-renowned sound therapist and healer Sara Auster in the Auster Sound Method of sound bath healing and facilitation.

Crown Yoga Shala

In 2023, Sarah opened Crown Yoga Shala to provide a community space in the Fairwood/Cascade neighborhood of Renton for students to learn and practice the more traditional path of meditation and yoga. The Shala opened in October 2023 to a large membership base and continues to thrive.

At the Shala, Sarah teaches restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, meditation and facilitates sound baths.
