Sound Bath Sessions

with Sarah Espe, RYT, C-ASM Sound Healing Practitioner

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of sound and vibration

During this shared auditory experience, participants will embark upon a variety of diverse tones and vibrations, intentionally devoid of a structured melody or beat. This deliberate arrangement allows participants to surrender to the sound, experiencing a profound meditative state. Be prepared to traverse the realms of consciousness, gently drifting in and out of awareness.

The impact on your body during a sound bath can be transformative. You may feel a sense of relaxation, profound calmness, or a rooted connection to the present moment. Your mind may undergo a spectrum of experiences, ranging from crystal-clear clarity to blissful emptiness, or being adorned with a kaleidoscope of colors, images, and shapes. Emotionally, the journey can be just as diverse, eliciting joy, happiness, gratitude, relief, or even moments of introspective sadness or annoyance. Remember, there's no predefined script – each encounter is unique and deeply personal.

It's important to acknowledge that everyone's threshold for sound and emotion is different. If at any point you find a sound too intense, loud, or uncomfortable, feel empowered to quietly exit the room. Similarly, if you encounter emotions or sensations that become overwhelming, there's absolutely no judgment in choosing to step out. Your well-being is our priority, and we encourage you to embrace your experience authentically, knowing that there is no right or wrong way to navigate a sound bath with Crown Yoga.

    Length: 15 to 20 minutes

  • Meditating with mandalas can be a powerful way to calm the mind, reduce stress, and enhance focus.

We provide unique mandalas for meditators to design using a variety of supplies, such as watercolor, colored pencils, markers, crayons, etc.

    BENEFITS

Relaxation & Stress Reduction – The repetitive nature of mandala patterns induces a meditative state that calms the nervous system and reduces stress.

Mindfulness – Engaging with the mandala encourages present-moment awareness, helping practitioners stay grounded and focused on their inner experiences.

Creativity Stimulation – The creative process involved in making or coloring a mandala taps into the right side of the brain, fostering creative expression and problem-solving.

Patience & Discipline – The detailed, step-by-step process of creating or coloring a mandala fosters patience and discipline, as the meditator works through the process with intention and care.

  • Restorative yoga is a low-impact, gentle, calming style of yoga designed to help the body and mind deeply relax and restore. It focuses on holding passive poses for extended periods, typically supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps to ensure comfort and relaxation. The goal is to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes healing, reduces stress, and enhances relaxation

How you’ll feel: Grounded, refreshed, relaxed, centered, connected, nurtured

Targets: Joint health, detoxification, stress relief, self-love, self-compassion

  • Placing six selenite wands in a circle, the selenite will work with the body’s hemispheric balance to bring both sides into total alignment. In the process, any manifestations of imbalance can be eradicated.

Additionally, with this “vortex”, the selenite pulls the spinal column into alignment and thus increases one’s natural flexibility.

  • Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a deeply relaxing and restorative meditation practice that guides practitioners into a state of conscious relaxation. In this state, the body rests deeply, but the mind remains alert and aware.

Yoga Nidra is typically practiced lying down in a comfortable position, and it involves a guided meditation through various stages to bring about physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.

This is a really nice accompaniment to a sound bath.
