REIKI

Usui Shiki Ryoho is a Japanese healing art, also known as reiki (霊気). The Japanese word ‘reiki’ can be translated as ‘universal life energy', and the Usui System is a way of working with reiki for the healing of self and others. Reiki is practiced by using palm healing or hands-on healing through which universal energy is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the client, encouraging emotional, mental, or physical healing. The word healing is used in the sense of regaining harmony and wholeness.

Just like meditation, yoga, or acupuncture, the effects of Reiki are cumulative.
